Es wird grün. Der Animationsfilm, der fast ausschließlich im Wald spielt, zeigt Menschen und Menschlein, aber hauptsächlich viele sprechende Tiere und Pflanzen in einer turbulenten Geschichte um die Rettung des Waldes.
